This fuselage is going to Canada (CWH?) for a static where it will be mated with a wing that's being (re)built. It's essentially a proof of the moulds.

It is indeed a masterpiece - the pictures simply do not convey how nice the fuselage feels - the moulds have an incredibly solid look and feel to them, but the fuselage is something else entirely - smooth, light, strong, almost warm, although that's not the right word. It's more like a sculpture than an "assembly".

The most amazing thing, in my opinion, is the amount of work that has been done by one man over 10-12 years.

The second most amazing thing is how fast the fuselages can be built. I may have misheard him, but I am sure that Glyn said the combined fuse and bulkheads took 800 man hours (for the first ones), and the next ones will be faster.

The third most amazing thing is how is seems, to the casual observer, that the NZ warbird community has turned their back on this man. I do not understand why there aren't people offering support, from rebuilding canopies or offering tests on blades to making cups of teas or offering to mow his lawns etc. I don't know all the facts, so it may be an unfair, uninformed opinion.
