Seems strange to me when enthusiasts moan about the fact that an aircraft was (re?)built from a few original parts and a dataplate.
Whats the bottom line in this situation? Three Buffalos or no Buffalos. Do you never want to see one fly?
But they do it to increase the value??
Come on; everyone knows these things were supposed to be extinct, especially anyone looking to actually buy one.
Being a widely known "dataplate" rebuild doesn`t seem to have hurt the value of David Prices 109 and he has been honest about its history.
Give them a break, I say, at least they aren`t asking 4mil!!
