Hi Chad.
Bad news about the wings, didn't they realise before they took them off the AFM example.....or was the deal already signed and sealed so they couldn't back out?
Do you know exactly how many Kingcobras they have got, and the serials of them.
I recall reading in Classic Wings Downunder about a man that has brought FIFTEEN out of the Kurils I believe, not them at Gosshawk is it?
Cheers
Mick
: Dropped by Goss Hawk today and was surprised to see the 19
: 0 fuse outside the hangar devoid of just about everything.
: They have completely disassembled the bird down about as
: far as you can go. They have switched wings with the Air
: Force Museum but said the wing they got was in substantia
: lly worse condition than the one they gave away! Anyway,
: word around the shop is that Champlin just may hold on to
: the bird once it's finished. I will take the digital came
: ra with me next time. Champlin also has several Kingcobra
: airframes stored in the Goss Hawk hangar which I guess is
: their next project. Regards, Chad.
