I triple checked the bill...did the conversion...3large OJ's...3 Grand Slams...and a couple side dishes... I guess they saw me coming!!!

I haven't been to Louisville since the Clark County Airshows of the mid 90's...that used to be "THE" premier US warbird show...don't let anyone kid you otherwise. Totally free Saturday warm up show ...with a minimum of 20 P-51's..and total access to the flightline. The two day shows were incredible...warbirds of every type and many in multiple numbers. Chuck Yeager, Pete Peterson, Bud Anderson, Bruce Carr, Tommy Hayes, Ben Drew, Robin Olds...all the big names were there...and flying, either doing thier own driving...or backseating. It was an amazing run. I recall Yeager hopping from a T-6 to an FG-1 (BTW Paul Morgans a/c) and on to a Mustang in about a 3 hour span. B-17's...a P-38, P-40's, The Horseman...Gawd I miss that southern show!!!! I hope thunder is just as well produced!
