European Air War is definintely the best choice in my opinion, cheap, plenty of aircraft to choose from, easy to use with all keys programmable, good graphics although not a patch on IL2 and all the bugs are now well and truly ironed out. I'm still 'getting the feel' of IL2, more crashes than victories at the moment ;)
