Anzio P-40L

This is a sad story, and if I posted it in its full details the board would probably be shut down again.

The bare facts are that the P-40 is on display at the Piana delle Orme centre, near Latina (Littoria in WW2).

The display is quite scenic, but the aircraft was not put through a professional restoration. In fact, the intact wings were cut off to facilitate removal from the beach after the recovery.

I think you get the picture.
