Failing that,
I'd take a ring side seat with Flak battery 'A', the coast of Ostende on the night of 20th Sept 1940 to see what really happened to Wellington T2463 of 75NZ squadron, which my Grandfather was co pilot of.
How did the first pilot only, manage to bail out and several miles before she eventually crashed? Was he shot in his parachute as rumoured? Oh to lay these and many more questions to rest, for my fathers peace at least.............
