This is actually very interesting to me Mick, also slightly insulting, but I too would rather see them in the air than static. Surely they couldn't have been confused with the serials from A68-500 to A68-1001 which did have american ids because of american manufacture.
Makes me wonder what will/might happen to the remains of A68-7, A68-30, A68-35, A68-72 and A68-87 which were also exported to the states after their recovery from the atomic test site where A68-1 had also sat.
Now there's a thought, does anyone know what has happened to these airframes after their being sold to Cavalier?
