I made a contact with the National Aviation Museum. Previously they did not know the identity of the Avro Lacaster nose section in their collection. After the tip from WIX (Peter I believe), which I passed onto the museum, the record cards for the Lancasters were checked and it was confirmed that KB848 is the ID.
Way to go WIX! Best source of info on the web.
