I agree the site is excellent, but - at the risk of spoiling the day - it seems that it has been compiled with little regard for copyright. A cursory check shows that at least two of the Italian colour photos (MC200-003 and MC202-001) are from original colour slides in my collection, which I have published in the book WINGS OF ITALY but sure as hell never authorised to be posted on the net. Another photo, SM79-003, is taken from the cover of an old issue of STORIA MILITARE magazine. How do I know? Well, for 60 years it circulated in b/w, then the magazine colorised and used on its cover. Of course, anyone could have done the same, but why duplicate someone else's efforts?
