Just been to the D-Day Musuem here and saw Spitfire BL370. Her of the recovered from a marsh, a court case (I think) and replica wings!
Also there was a Avenger replica their.. Can't understand why someone would go to the trouble to build a replica when there are a number of un-restored and fire bomber examples out there!
Was interestinmg to find out about 'Higgins boats' though!
