From what I can remember of this story, the Buffalos, Hawks and the forgotten Helldivers, were off-loaded in Martinique, and "Struck off Charge" by the Vichy government, mainly because we satchel-charged the cockpits. Not sure what happened to them after that, the only photo I saw, was of all the aircraft lined up on the beach where they were unloaded
