I plan to inform them of my visit beforehand to avoid dissapointment.
No I did not get the drawings from YAM or any other UK-source. Would you believe I got them from someone in Amsterdam(!), but it is true, don't know where he got them from.
I have five copies of what appear to be original drawings showing the entire wireless position, drawn by the parent company no less, imagine my shock when I saw them. I have had some contact with YAM in the past when I visited Elvington in 1997 and was lucky to see the Halifax inside, but it was mostly bare then.
But YAM had to redraw the drawings for the cockpit section for reasons unknown by me. I hope to get some general arrangement drawings for the cockpit. Mind you it is not a fully blown nose-section but merely the top half with the wireless compartment seperatly.
