I realise that I`m a little late with this but I`ve not been about lately.
Bad news I`m afraid; I don`t know how old your information was but when I worked at that godawful place in the mid eighties, there was no museum there that I ever heard of. I suppose an aircraft could of been stashed somewhere around the yard - its a big enough place, but I never heard about it. The only two interesting things there were a two seat hunter that they used to let us practice our skills on and the time they brought in the Fleet Air Arms Sea Fury for some work. (I think this was the one that went swimming!)
The best 30 seconds of my whole time there was when it overflew the place after the work was completed. Awesome!
Cheers
