Hi Simon,

I was talking to one of the chaps at East Kirkby aorund a month ago and he remarked that the extra hangar space was to be used for indoor events so that they could use the lanc as a backdrop. I suppose they might use some of the area for the proctor/hampden restorations too?

Speaking of the Lancaster doing flypasts at the Derwent Dam. On Friday i saw a piece on the local news (look north i think) that the lanc was doing a flypast agian over the dams that day! To say i was shocked was an understatement as i'd heard no mention of it anyway and i was working that day too! anybody with anymore info on this?
