My nomination?
Robert Hampton Greys in Honshu Bay. I'd like to do something about that one. I grew up with his nephew, Andrew White in Jamaica, when my Father was serving as a British Army Engineer rebuilding the sugar plant there. I believe his mother, was either Robert Gray's sister or cousin, and she was/is a lovely lady.
I know what you're saying Mick, and I agree, but the wreck will have to be surveyed, to see if the Hawaii MIA team would need to be informed, or at the very least, find his burial place, because, from an Afro-American perspective, this is the most famous Corsair wreck, and I think Joe is right. In terms of a diorama, and making people proud of their Navy and PR, as well as raising awareness in the young, it's a must recover.
Mick, can you get hold of your mate? The answer is yes, I'll go.
