It is indeed sad, 102 is a great age. What a historic life. Just imagine, when she was born, Queen Victoria was still on the throne. Her part in keeping up morale of the UK in the dark days of the war, particularly when Great Britain stood alone against the might of the axis must not be underestimated.
She was patron/champion of several BoB causes.
It is a bit like the passing of an era.
