Hi Guys,
Since I haven't already seen it posted here, I thought that you might like to know it seems likely that Tom Riley has finally got permission to export the B-24 he recovered in Newfoundland several years ago. There was an article in the Ottawa Citizen about two weeks ago which reported the news. Also, I confirmed this a couple of days ago with Harland Avezzie. We got talking about it, and he said that Tom was already in Canada getting things sorted out. He also mentioned that there is an expedition being put together to recover the B-17 from the river in Labrador this summer. Pretty good news all round I would say... makes a change from the two disasters the vintage aviation community has gone through in the past week!
Cheers for now,
Richard
