I may be wrong, but isn't Duraluminum (or Dural) just clad aluminum (Alclad)?
Cladding is where they roll a thin layer of pure aluminum on the surfaces of the alloy for surface corrosion resistance. Cladding is just a process, and is thin enough to essentially have no effect on the strength of the sheet.
I don't know about in the UK, but in the US the old 24ST designation is now 2024 and 75ST is 7075. I think the new designations are ASTM standards. I can look into this further if anyone else can't find a difinitive answer.
