Certification....clear as mud!

I think that it all boils down to value, it is probably advantageous in the US to have a US ID (for the history it implies to a US owner- for the same reason all Buchons are now somehow becoming Bf-109's) as well as a Limited category certificate with the fewer limitations over the end use of the aircraft. Limited category aircraft can be used for hire, while Experimental Exhibition cannot (well, as usual, there are exceptions there too!).
