What interests me is... I wonder if a "a 'its had it though' Wellington" would be about the size of a Whirlwind.. Ok I do not expect it to be sittting there all shiney etc, but 50% of a recognisable aircaft is better than nought when nought is about. Look what the Egyptians did with that Spitfire they recovered out of the Med. It looks like a Spitfire (well 50% of one) to me.
