Very mice to hear from you. I thought that this might be Daves aircraft but was at a loss as to why she was here in ontario especially out of season. Thanks for the information. Iam aware of the Ad regarding the spar bolts as I followed the project on Sally B in the Uk that had to have the same work done. This should guarentee the health of the fliers for several more years??
The flame was small at first and it seemed as though the captain powered up a little and it dispersed only for a second or two and reignited a little bigger the second time. Once power was applied to turn off of the taxiway the flame went out for good. I happened to see this once before on a Dc4 that was landing on a short grass runway, although the flame on the dc4 was significantly bigger and the crew had to run up at a much higher power setting to snuff out the flames.
