for the many questions,we plan to start the investigation concerning Mosquito VI serial NT122 shortly.

The aircraft crashed into the IJsselmeer (wet) during June 5/6th 1944. The pilot was the son of Arthur Whitton-Brown of the Atlantic crossing of 1919-fame. Both crewmembers are buried at Hoorn Cemetery. During 1978 a complete propellor was accidentally recovered by a boat when it hauled up its anchor and the prop came with it. The wreckage is probably scattered on the lakebed.

That should see the start of a busy summer season.
