Hello Paul,
I was of course tempted to vote for the Halifax, but to be realistic I would say: Lockheed P-38 Lightning.
This warbird has not survived in great numbers as the Mustang or Spitfire for that matter. The Allison engines are relatively easy to come by. It would be nice to see more of these forktailed devils in the air.
