It would have to be a Twin Mustang P-82B model with the prettier lines than the later Allison models. Either go full size (and probably carbon fiber/honeycomb composite) and use real Allisons or go 75% to 85% size and use already existing Thunder Mustang parts/tooling wherever possible to save development costs and stick with the Falconer V-12s. A full four-place aircraft would be possible with lots of speed. I worked for the Thunder Mustang plant for many years and have always thought this idea has much potential to sell. Faster than a Lancair IV-P (so would be the fastest 4-place homebuilt kit piston aircraft in the world bar none)and 50x the attention getter and still carries four people a long ways with the good range/fuel consumption numbers.
And a single canopy version groomed for racing...LOOK OUT!!
