In fact the aircraft in PNG are the sole property of the land owner.Who can choose to sell them to a scrapper if they wish.Export may be a diferent matter,The two aircraft are both USAAF 49th Sqdn therefore are of no intrest to Australia.The other P38 was probably taken by Greinet sounds like him.I would doupt if the museun didn't know.
