...if we put two and two together (two Spitfires in this case) considering the various reactions on this forum then we can relatively safely assume that these two Spitfires actually exist?

......kept me informed about his project. If fact I just received an email from him today. He has told me the story of how he got ML411 and the other Spitfire. I believe he may have sold the other one to pay for the restoration of ML411.

........no one having seen ML411- ask the folks at HFL. They were invited take a look at ML411 but said they don't do outside restorations anymore but said they would like to purchase it!.........

Because it is not generally known that an airframe exists, it doesn't mean it doesn't, does it (auch, I feel a headache coming up).

Now, who can answer the following questions:

-If the other Spitfire was sold to pay for the restoration
of ML411, to whom was is sold to.
-What is the exact story of the discovery and
acquisition these airframes from Turkey.
-Who can provide photograph's of the two airframes.

Now what about the Mosquitoes, Fw-190's etc that are supposedly still extant in Turkey?

Don't you just love it.

Cheers

Cees
