Hi Paul,
Haven?t seen the photos but can only concour. I remember seeing this plane fly for the first time when at Duxford?s Classic Fighter Display in 1992, and thinking about it now sitting locked up in the museum is kinda sad! I went by Darrell Skurich shop in Ft. Collins, CO back in 1994 when they were rebuilding the two Evergreen 109s, and I hoped to see them fly. Guess that will never happen now. A few of these so-called "flying museums" doesn?t seem to fly their planes very often, do they?

Thinking of days (and displays) gone by!
