Hi all,
Here in the states we are familiar with the routine: If your restoration isn't ready to fly for Sun 'n Fun, the next goal is Oshkosh. The website for Glacier Gal seems to suggest "another 3-4 months" to go before first flight(but we all know the bittersweet relationship between calendars and restorations).
With about 5 months to go until Oshkosh (and with crystal balls aside), which warbirds should we hope to see attending (in other words, who is actively targeting attendance at Airventure 2002--the 50th Anniversary--as THE GOAL). So far I've seen scheduled:
CAF P-51C
LSFM B-17G
Lockheed Super Connie
Howard Pardue's Sea Fury
CAF SB2C (still tentative)
I'm curious if any of the following are "targeting" Oshkosh:
Me-262 replica(s)
Frasca FW-190
Weeks B-25
Weeks TP-40N (first flight?...anything?...)
Glacier Gal P-38
All other news/predictions/rumors welcome!
Best wishes,
Dan
