Somebody posted this same topic on the group about 3 weeks ago. I asked some general (but not detailed) questions, and the response was a deafening silence !! :-(
Please, someone, put a bit of flesh on the story!

I know that the Syrians bought a quantity (40? or 10?) of Mk 22s circa mid-50s. IIRC, the remnants were said to be derelict at Damascus airport in the 1960s.
