Dear Elliott;
Not sure what your after but I can steer you in the direction of a book that might help you. ONE PROB!- it's out of print.
There are copies floating around but very hard to find. I have access to a copy of it here in Toronto in one of our Ref Libraries. Lists all serial numbers of aircraft from 1920 to around 1969 {print date}. Gives the date of taken on and off inventory and some very brief history for each RCAF aircraft. Has mistakes but all in all a great reference. The author still volunteers at the NAM in Ottawa and I am hearing rumours of a 2nd edition. Drop the National Aviation Museum an email on how to find John. Here is the books info minus the ISBN #
Canadian military aircraft; serials & photographs, 1920-1968.
Author: Griffin, J. A.
Call: Reference 358.4009 GRI Toronto Refe library call #
Subject: Aeronautics, Military -- Canada -- History.
