I still have a few nagging questions about the Sabena Lysander. Thanks to Paul Millan for his previous assistance. I also apologize in case it seems like I am flogging a dead horse.
I came across an article in the September 1995 edition of Warbirds International regarding the restoration of the Sabena Lysander. The article noted that the cowl came from RCAF 2441, the landing gear from 2360 and the fuselage and cockpit from 2442. The picture in the article showed it was marked as 2442. I obtained a photo that showed it marked as V9723 at one point. Pascal Brugier's web site (http://w3.teaser.fr/~pbrugier/n_index.htm) doesn't indicate an ID for the airframe.
I believe it was mentioned before that the ID of the airframe is V9546. What I would like to know is airfame component was used for the ID as V9723? Was it the wing? Where did the wing come from? There was no mention of the wing in the Warbrids International article.
Any assistance that anyone can provide would be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Mike
