Here's the text from Jorge Gonzalez's letter that was lost in my original post:

---F4u4 #617 central section was forgotten without explination. Today and for the last 20 years it has been under C47 fuselage (that is my opinion) between the grass and trees in boneyard. Many people said check in huesera(boneyard). We now have f4u4 #617 which crashed with Coronel Milla!---
