The Internet is a wonderful thing but, ......

...... sometimes it?s too quick for our own good.
In the old days of snail-mail there was a chill factor. What I mean is that when you got worked up about something that you wanted to communicate you had to stick a paper into the typewriter, type whatever had crossed your mind, go copy the creation in needed numbers, get envelopes, address the lot and finally get your butt to the post office to buy stamps and post?em.
By the time you finished the first bottle of tippex and thought about mailing costs you had chilled enough to let it go.
Nowadays you can hit the world by simply hitting ENTER and everyone know just how angry and displeased you are and an opinion can be communicated world wide, an opinion that a few years ago would have seen limited spread among your closest friends.
I think that it?s a wonderful thing that we consider people on this forum to be good enough friends to communicate such opinions and feelings but, I have to say that we could have done very well without a few of the topics started on the spur of a thought. I mean, some topics may not have been well considered because they are either provoking or encourage the letting off of steam.
These subjects can be discussed on MSN or the Warbird Chatrooms that might be put up to our benefit and in these places you can cover your tracks, when the discussion is over it?s deleted, isn?t it?

Regards,
Christer ;-) (looking for my flak jacket)
