For the record and my last post on the subject. Scott was good enough to set up this board to replace the old Vintage Aviator Forum which worked well for a short time.
The facts are that the person that was good enough to set it up (Richard Page) at his own expense and register the domain at his home address received a letter from a solicitor over a post that some mindless moron made and an individual took exception to. Now the reason that Richard withdrew the facility was that he was afraid of legal action agianst himself on a personal level.
Those that say he should have toughed it out should try receiving threats of legal action and see how they feel.
The sure fire way to spoli something is to post THOUGHTLESS and STUPID comments.
I hope anyone that values this board and the contribution that Scott is making will take this on board. And I hope that the snide comments that continue to be made against teh old board will stop - I don't mind personally, but I think out of respect for Richard Page, who acted in good faith, those posting such comments should wind their necks in.
Sincerely
Paul Coggan
