Well it seems to have taken forever but the official video of the Easter event (NZ) is finally out there. I got to see it recently and it was worth the wait. Nearly two hours long, covers everything there from the WW-I dogfights (including views over the battle field from the Bristol Fighter, Camel alongside and being shot down by a Triplane!). WW-II is well covered of course - Spitfire with fangs, Mustangs, Boomerang, P-40, Hurricane, Catalina, Me-108 etc., plus all the other bits and pieces there - heaps of Harvards, Yaks, Nanchangs, Ryans, L-19s, Devons etc., and of course the Panther tank! It is a good record of the show. My only complaint, if I'm allowed, is that while several different cameras were obviously used, one caused the various propellers to take on that 'Shackleton look'. By no means the majority, it nevertheless distracts from time to time. Otherwise a very good record of an excellent event. The website is www.classicfighters.co.nz - more info. there.
Just curious to know if anyone else has seen it and what they thought of it?
