The vengeance population in OZ has been about 1 and bit for quite some time. There is a complete example (EZ999) at the Camden Museum of Aviation, which is ground run on the odd occasion.
The remains of another was at Albany, Western Australia. This aircraft was A27-247 in RAAF service. A photo appeared in CWD July-Sept 97 (Vol 4 No 3) as that issues mystery aeroplane, with a writeup in the following issue. (Graham, do I get a free sub for this plug?)
Does anyone have current info on this one. I do recall it being advertised for sale within the last couple of years. (or was I mistaken?)
I would hope that there are more of these aircraft around - perhaps PNG?
