Tony,
I checked both the B-25C/D and B-25J Parts Manuals this weekend. They both list the left rudder pedal as part # 73-52405 and the right pedal as 73-52405-1.
North American part numbers consist of two parts. The numbers to the left of the hyphen indicate the North American model number. B-25s were given the following NAA model numbers: 62, 82, 90, 94, 93, 96, 87, 100, 98, and 108.
Since the above part number begins with a 73 which is not a B-25 model number, I would assume that rudder pedal was initially designed for use in a different NAA aircraft and then also used for the B-25.
The five digit number to the right of the hyphen is the actual part number. The 5#### series is used for "Fixed Equipment Installation, Electrical, Surface Controls, Heating and Ventalation, Hydraulics, etc.". The 53### series is for the "Surface Control Group".
The above information was gleaned from Norm Avery's book: "B-25 Mitchell - The Magnificent Medium".
I hope this is of some help. Let me know the part number of your pedal if it is defferent than 73-52405.
Todd
