Ok, here it is:
Whirlwind P7122 crashed near Beverwijk as stated on 27th of may 1942 at 10:59 in the evening. It was based at Matlaske with 137 squadron.
Victor Binghams book (yes, I have that one too) mentions that it went missing on that date with the pilot Brennan missing. The thing is that many aircraft which went missing were only noted that they failed to return while often the location of the crash was unknown. On our side of the channel those "missing" aicraft are not missing at all and are listed. Our own list contains about 1450 crashes in the nortwestern part of Holland alone. Bomber Command Losses has had great help from Dutch researcher Hans de Haan regarding Dutch crashsites. Unfortunately many Brits think a certain aircraft is still missing while we over here know exactly where the aircraft came down.
