I also wondered what happened to the trench that was discovered - it was in amazing condition.
I do hope that its not under one of those bloody industrial units - especially as it was stated that it was one of the best preserved trenches ever found.
I really found it incredible that there are soooo many soldiers "missing" but how easy (it seems) it was to find the remains, albeit unidentifiable.
A very thought provoking programme
