That is great to hear! Has it been restored? It was in rough shape sitting outside like that.
Actually are you sure that was the one? In 2000 one was removed from a pole at the former CAF Uplands (Ottawa airport). I spotted it in pieces at the National Aviation Museum on July 1 2000. It looked like it was either getting ready to go in for restoration or for shipping. I would think the later as the National Aviation Museum already has one in their collection, and another on loan to the CWH. Maybe that was the one to go to the USAF Museum.
