Tony,

I am not going to tell you what you can or cannot do. But the tabloid press is only after a quick profit and doesn't care at all about the personal dramas behind stories like this. If it sells more papers then they are interested but the next day it will be another story. It would be better to have official departments handle things like these (provided they are willing or have the balls to do so).

Problem of course is that my gouvernment as well as the British do not wish to recover these missing airmen doesn't help this case either. If it were an American this case would have been solved in a few days.

The person who is working on this case has the backing of the local police and mayor and is trying to persuade the CWGC to officially confirm that the remains are of the airmen who is still missing since May 1940. This is the most important thing to accomplish so that the next of kin know at last.

The fact that the b*****d, who was responsible for taking the remains to his home as some sort of macabre trophy, doesn't want to cooperate in any way and hasn't been arrested only highlightens the fact that the politicians over here have f*****d up in any possible way. But I have no doubts that he will be punished.
