I think we have been through that lend lease argument before. Was that not the point of the scheme.. Didn't the UK gov have to pay for stuff that WAS NOT RETURNED? - The lease bit and then give back the ok stuff without paying - the lend stuff. Maybe wrong.. But I think those belong to anybody BUT the US gov!
