Gareth,

There are a number of projects that are under rebuild as you mention.
These are as I recall,
P-51C (DX)
Sea Fury (DX)
Gladiator (DX)
Beaufighter (DX) - long term, have heard that it could be 10 years before this is complete
Airacobra (Chino) - don't know much about this one, prehaps one of the US guys could help ??
Hurricane (Hawker Restorations) - this is apparently moving along apace
Falco (Italy) - another long term project, not many details

and of course
2x Yak.3 - one for TFC and the other for OFMC. I have read somewhere that the OFMC is marketing the Yak for bookings later in the year.

and once these are finished there are a number of others waiting in the wings like,
Mosquito - stored
Fiat G.59 - no idea
La.11 - stored
Ki.43 - Just a bunch of mangled sections apparently
Spitfire RK858 - no idea about the future of this one, it was going to be restored by HFL at one point but this fell through when HFL was being taken over.
Spitfire PK624 - this has been started but is now stored
P-36 - Again just a bunch of bits apparently

in addition to these I do recall there being mention of multiple examples of both I-16 Rata's and I-153 Chaika's under restoration in the former USSR. In fact I believe they were listed as survivors in WW Directory ver.2 or 3, but no details recently.

as well as all of the above the TFC did have a P-40E project up for sale. I think this was recovered from Russia.
Don't know the current status of this one.

I also remember reading somewhere that an Me.109 would not be operated by TFC due to its "interesting" handling qualities.

I hope all of these aimless ramblings are in some way useful,

John
