Mick - The Lincoln G-APRJ at Sandtoft consists of a fuselage
minus cockpit and her wings and tail feathers . The Merlin's are long gone but her props and cowls are there.
The is an emormous amount of corrosion in most of the parts - the props are suffering the worst.
Her cockpit from the Southend days was removed whilst with Doug Arnold - it's ex Lancaster TW911 and this was a fairly standard 'mod' for trials Lincoln's .
I hope the Lincoln ends up in the hands of a responsible museum who carry out a restoration back to either stock Lincoln or her testbed days.
Regards the Lancaster cockpit there it's ex Lancaster KB994 which is a fuselage which came over from Canada to help in the rebuild of G-BCOH. The is very little of it which is recognisable . The rear fuselage portion of KB976 is also there which consists of from the rear of the wing
to just forward of the crew entrance.
