I had the privilege of being allowed to visit the "Doc" restoration in Wichita a couple of weeks ago, and I can hardly wait to see this B-29 in the air! The PR guy, Mr. Ziegler, was 100% helpful and cool!
Also, through the good offices of Wayne Gomez, this visit was made possible.
I have already developed the film, and the pictures won't be able to convey the hard work that is evident everywhere, these guys are really giving their all to see this airplane flying again. I was told that expected date of flight is December of 2002.
