It's a shame Hawker or the RAF or other end users did not take the time to wack a few serial numbers around the various parts but at the end of the day I doubt they thought that the aircraft would have such a following so far down the road.

I do hope Jim can get his Russian connections to did up some useful information, I wonder if the merlin plate number would help, maybe not if it was an engine change but better than nothing, thanks again Tony!!
