That would have to be Louis Antonacci's FG-1D BuNo.88297. He sold that particular Corsair to Stephen Grey in 1986. Since the pictures you describe were both taken in the States, it would be safe to say they were made while the plane was still owned and flown by Mr. Antonacci (pronounced An-Toe-Nee-Cee).
Today the plane has of course been refinished in the markings of an RNFAA 1850 Squardon Corsair. Overall deep sea blue with yellow cowl, and number '130' carried on the fuselage.
