Jagan had a question regarding the Westland Lysander that was traded to India, and in return the National Aviation Museum here in Ottawa received their B-24L.
I am helping Jagan to dig up some history on this airframe, here is what I have so far...
-> T Mk III V9418 RAF
-> 1581 RCAF TOS 1942/2/17
-> converted to TT Mk III 1942/12/21
-> RCAF SOS 1946/11/25
Question #1: I only have the Warbirds Worldwide Directory 1st edition and it doesn't have any Lysander info. Does any of the later editions have any info?
Question #2: What is the difference between a TT Mk III and at T Mk III? Is there a T Mk III?
I am going to contact the National Aviation Museum for information regarding the history of the airframe.
Regards,
Mike
