You have been busy Tony, gimme a bell.

Looks good to me, and a C47 for the first aircraft in our fleet is probably just about right, and at ?70 per share it's very attractive indeed.

The best thing about a C47 is that it is easy to get a Public Transport CofA, so we should have no problems with us owners being able to fly in it.

Also good is that a C47/DC3 is better able to fly long distances to other countries with fewer problems than a "true" military aircraft.

And of course there are huge numbers of the things still around so finding a good one would not be difficult at all, everyone recognises and appreciates the C47/DC3, and there are many airports able to handle it and understand it's needs.

Spare parts should not be a problem either.

Regarding where it would be based, as we talked about the other day I would much prefer that it became a sort of "Travelling Circus/Fair" constanly moving around the world to wherever the owners were based, hopefully allowing all owners to eventually get a flight in their own aeroplane, and also fare paying punters of course, we can stick little people stickers on it to act as mission markers !

Obviously it would need a permanent base somewhere, and I would say it would be better to base it in the country where the largest percentage of share holders lived, I think that is fair for all concerned.

It would need an attractive paint job, proposed by any of the owners and then voted on by all the owners, but depending on cost it could be regularly re-painted to keep it fresh, and to enable as many different schemes as possible to be represented, and I don't just mean US and UK schemes, it would look equally nice in Australian, NZ, Canadian, etc etc etc paint schemes.

Just my ?70 worth.

Mick
